The standard
The decree 115/2014 of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs includes for Private Security Institutes of every dimension and type the requirement of getting the certification according to UNI 10891 by a Notified Body, which is accredited and authorized by the Ministry of the Internal Affairs.
The requirements to be met are essentially the ones required by the Italian DM269/2010 (and subsequent amendments and additions) and the organisational ones specified in standard UNI 10891.
The main objective of the certification according to UNI 10891 is to ensure that the Private Security Institutes meet the minimum requirements concerning the following types of services, by particularly taking into account the management of the resources, the infrastructures and the relationships with the customers.
Class A
- Inspective Security
- Permanent Security
- Anti-robbery Security
- Anti-theft Security
- Other services regualted by special laws or Ministerial Decrees.
Class B
- Remote surveillance/televigilance
- Intervention for alarm
Class C
- Services carried out by personnel different from private security guards
Class D
- Valuables Escort Service
- Valuables Transport Service
Class E
- Valuables Custody and Deposit Services
ANCCP Service
ANCCP Certification Agency S.r.l is an Independent Notified Body, which is authorized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and is accredited by Accredia for performing activities in the field of the Private Security Institutes certification in conformity with standard UNI 10891. This certification is a cat. I certification.
Interested parties
Every Private Security Institutes, of any legal nature, providing security services after obtaining the prefectural authorization according to the Ministerial Decree 269/2010 and subsequent amendments and additions.
