Inspections on recreational units are carried out according to the Italian Ministerial Decree 146/2008 in order to check the fulfilment of the crafts’ minimum safety requirements that are established by the applicable technical standards.
Such a verification permits to get an Attestation of suitability, which is required for the renewal, the validation or the granting of the Safety Certificate.
These inspections are carried out regularly or also when extraordinary events occur (for example in case of accident). In addition, also the recreational crafts used for the renting are subject to initial, regular or occasional checks.
