Standard UNI EN ISO 37001:2016 – Anti-Bribery Management Systems – defines the requirements and the guidelines for establishing, implementing, maintaining, reviewing and improving an “Anti-bribery management system”.
The standard refers exclusively to corruption and provides organizations with a guideline aimed to prevent, detect, face corruption activities, as well as control the efficiency of the instruments used for fighting corruption and promote legality in the organization.
Companies working according to ISO 37001 have to establish, maintain and improve an anti-bribery management system.
In order to develop their own management system, organizations have to:
- Define a policy for the anti-bribery system management;
- evaluate the risk of corruption and define the preventive measures aimed to facilitate the detection of corruptive activities;
- define objectives, methods and instruments for a long-term improvement and a better efficiency in the fight against corruption.
ANCCP Certification Agency has the competence and professionality for certifying companies aiming to get a third-party conformity certificate for their Anti-bribery Management System according to ISO 37001.
Every enterprise, company, private or public body aiming to adopt voluntarily an Anti-bribery management system for all their organization structures and processes, regarding both cases of stakeholders or the personnel itself causing corruption and regarding cases of them being submitted to corruption itself.
