The Italian DPR 462/2001 specifies that the employer submit the grounding systems, the plants for protection against the atmospheric discharges and the plants installed in places at risk of explosion to regular inspections of their suitability. The employer can contact the Italian ASL, ARPA or the Authorized Bodies for the inspections.
The course’s purpose is to provide the training and the necessary knowledges for carrying out the regular and the extraordinary inspections of the electrical plants, by focusing on the juridical and management aspects as well as on the technical ones.
To everyone passing the final examination, a certificate of attendance and profit is granted. Thanks to it, they can apply to an authorized Notified Body for a qualification as Inspectors for the grounding systems inspections according tot the Italian transposition decree no. 462/2001.
