COURSE OF INTERNAL AUDITOR ISO 45001: 2018 (24 H)
The course’s purpose is to provide the knowledges and the necessary training for carrying out the inspections of the Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
Through the course, the requirements of the reference standards (ISO 45001:2018) and the verification of their application to the Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems are deepened.
An important part of the Course constitutes of the discussion of case studies and of audits’ simulation in order to promote a concrete approach to the preparation and execution methods for the internal inspection activities.
To everyone passing the final examination, a certificate of attendance and profit is granted.
Target audience
- Consultants and professionals aiming to get the competences defined by standard EN ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015, which are necessary for carrying out the internal inspections of the occupational management systems in their companies or in their customer’s companies.
- Entrepreneurs, executives and quality managers working for private companies or public bodies: and who want to carry out with competence and professionality the internal inspections of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
Programme
The course consists of both theoretical and practical exercises (role-playing) about the following topics:
- The evolution of the standards about the Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems: from the standards of the series BH OHSAS 180011 to standard ISO 45001:2018
- Certification, Certification Bodies, Accreditation System
- Risk Management System and setting of the standards about the Management Systems according to the High Level Structure
- ISO 45001: 2018 requirements and the conformity to themselves.
- Series EN ISO 19011:2018 standards and reference to standard ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 and to the integrative provisions
- Audit type and differences
- Internal inspections: purposes and responsibilities
- Audit’s planning and preparation
- Audit process: preliminar meeting, interviews, collection of evidence, registration of the findings
- Execution of the internal inspections: audit final report and closure meeting
- Actions subsequent to the audit
- Competence and audit evaluation
- Interpersonal relationships and communication for an effective execution of the audit
- Simulation of an inspection
COURSE OF LEAD AUDITOR ISO 45001: 2018 (40 H)
The course provides the knowledges about the planning and execution methods of the third-party audits on the Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems according to standard ISO/IEC 17021-1: 2015 and it includes the evaluation of the competences, the personal characteristics and the communication techniques, which the auditors shall have.
The requirements of the reference standard ISO 45001:2018 are deepened, by focusing on the new aspects introduced in comparison with the old standard OHSAS 18001. The national and European standard framework is also deepened, as far as the laws applicable to safety in work places is concerned.
Case studies will be examined and discussed and assessment audits will be simulated.
The admission to the final examination depends on the evaluation of every participants’ performances regarding exercises, discussions and their own contributions. Passing the examination allows to get the qualification of ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor, therefore to work for Certification Bodies and apply for the registrations in the AICQ-SICEV auditors’ register.
